There’s an article I just read about this really cool project called Proyecto Vermut that’s bringing together Chilean cinema and cultural history. Basically, they’re celebrating their 10-year anniversary by creating a tour of historical landmarks around Chile and showcasing new Chilean films as part of the celebration.
It’s such a unique idea! I love the idea of blending film and history to create a unique celebration of culture. It’s definitely something I’d love to do if I were ever in Chile for a visit. From the article, it’s clear to me that the organizers behind this project are deeply passionate about preserving and promoting Chilean heritage. I think it’s really admirable!
They’re also incorporating a variety of Chilean voices and perspectives into the films they’re showcasing, which I think is great. It’s a wonderful way to support emerging artists and filmmakers while also shining a light on the rich cultural history of Chile.
All in all, I think the Proyecto Vermut is an awesome project and I’m excited to see what they come up with next. It’s so important to celebrate and preserve the culture and history of our communities, and this project is doing just that in a creative and engaging way.
