¿A lo Taylor Swift? Morrissey anuncia conciertos en Sudamérica y no en Chile

So, I just read this article about Morrissey announcing concerts in South America, but specifically not in Chile. Apparently, people are calling it a “Taylor Swift move” because she famously left Chile off her South American tour a few years ago.

Basically, Morrissey is going to be performing in countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Peru, but he’s skipping over Chile. Some people are pretty upset about it, especially since Chile has a pretty big Morrissey fan base.

To be honest, I’m not the biggest Morrissey fan, so I don’t really have a dog in this fight. But it does seem kind of odd to skip over such a big market. And on the other hand, I can understand wanting to mix things up and explore new places.

All in all, I think it’s interesting to see how musicians choose where to tour and how they balance the wants and needs of different audiences. Plus, it’s always fun to see people get riled up about something that seems so small in the grand scheme of things.
