Albóndigas de pescado, la receta de Doña Ángela para Cuaresma

So, I read this article called Albóndigas de pescado, la receta de Doña Ángela para Cuaresma and it was pretty interesting. Basically, it’s about this lady named Doña Ángela who shares her recipe for fish meatballs, specifically for the season of Lent.

She starts off by talking about how during Lent, some people choose to abstain from eating meat, so she came up with this recipe as an alternative. The article goes into detail about the ingredients and the steps involved in making the meatballs, but what really caught my attention was Doña Ángela’s story.

Apparently, she started making cooking videos on YouTube as a way to cope with the loneliness she felt after her husband passed away. Her videos gained popularity and now she has over 3 million subscribers! I think it’s so cool to see someone use something like YouTube to share their passion and connect with others.

Anyway, back to the recipe. It looks pretty simple and easy to follow, and I love that the meatballs are made out of fish instead of meat. I might have to try making them myself sometime soon.

Overall, I think this article is informative and provides a unique perspective on traditional Lenten dishes. It’s also a great example of how social media can bring people together and help people share their interests with others.
