Calentamiento global: ¿Puede causar más turbulencias en aviones? | Video | 13.cl

So, I just read this article about how global warming might cause more turbulence on airplanes. Crazy, right? Basically, scientists have been studying how climate change affects the jet streams in the atmosphere, and they’ve found that it’s making them stronger and more unstable. This, in turn, could cause more turbulence for airplanes flying through those areas.

The article goes on to explain that while turbulence is generally not dangerous and planes are built to handle it, it can still be pretty scary for passengers (including me). I remember one time I was on a flight and we hit some turbulence that was so bad, the plane started shaking and dropping suddenly. I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes!

Anyway, it’s not just about the rough ride. More turbulence could also mean longer flight times and more fuel usage, which isn’t great for the environment or your wallet. And let’s not forget about the impact on air traffic controllers and pilots who have to deal with these conditions on a regular basis.

Overall, I think this article highlights an important issue related to climate change and transportation. We need to start thinking about how we can adapt to these changes and mitigate their impact. It’s not just about being comfortable on our flights, but also about the long-term sustainability of air travel and the planet as a whole.
