Hey, so I was just reading this article about Chris Pratt and Super Mario Bros. The Movie. Apparently, Pratt recently said that we’ll have to wait until the writer’s strike is resolved before any talk of a sequel can happen.
Basically, the writer’s strike is causing a lot of issues in Hollywood right now, because writers aren’t able to work or negotiate contracts. And that means that Pratt and the rest of the Super Mario Bros. team can’t make plans for the future until the strike is over.
It’s kind of a bummer, but it makes sense. I remember hearing about how the writer’s strike in 2007-2008 caused a lot of delays for TV shows and movies, so it’s not surprising that it’s having a similar effect now.
In the end, it just goes to show how important writers are in the filmmaking process. Without them, we wouldn’t have any stories to tell! Hopefully the strike gets resolved soon so we can see more of Chris Pratt as Mario.
