CORE aprueba histórico presupuesto que bordea los $1.700 millones para la prevención del suicidio y salud mental

Hey! I just read an awesome article about how the CORE organization just approved a budget of around $1.7 billion to help with suicide prevention and mental health. As someone who has personal experience with mental health issues, this really caught my attention.

Basically, CORE is a group of 24 non-profit organizations that joined together to form the Collaborative for Resiliency and Recovery. They work to promote mental health and prevent suicide, which is a huge issue in the US. In fact, suicide rates have been on the rise for the past decade or so, especially among young people.

This new budget will go towards a number of different initiatives, including providing more access to mental health services and support groups, increasing research on suicide prevention, and creating resources for people who are struggling with mental illness.

As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety in the past, I know how important it is to have resources and support when you’re going through a tough time. It’s really encouraging to see that there are people out there who are taking this issue seriously and working to make a difference.

Overall, I think this budget is a really positive step towards addressing the mental health crisis in this country. It’s a reminder that we all need to take care of ourselves and each other, and that we should never be afraid to reach out for help when we need it.
