Corte de Santiago acoge solicitud de desafuero de diputada Cordero por querella de senadora Campillai

The victim is a woman named Fabiola Campillai who lost her eyesight after being hit by a tear gas canister during a protest in 2019.

Long story short, Cordero is being accused of obstructing justice by publicly revealing Campillai’s identity and medical information without her consent. And now a court in Santiago has accepted the request to lift Cordero’s parliamentary immunity so she can be investigated and potentially charged.
