Día del Océano: oportunidad de promover a la dieta azul

So, I just read this cool article about the “Dia del Oceano,” or Ocean Day, and how it’s an opportunity to promote something called the “dieta azul.” Essentially, the dieta azul is all about incorporating more seafood and other sustainable ocean-based foods into our diet. I never really thought about it before, but apparently, seafood is actually super healthy and good for you in moderation. Plus, if we focus on sustainable options, we can help protect the ocean and its resources at the same time.

The article talked about how countries all over the world are promoting the dieta azul on Ocean Day as a way to raise awareness about marine life and sustainable fishing practices. It’s becoming more and more important as our population grows and we need to feed more people while still being mindful of our impact on the environment.

Personally, I’ve always loved seafood, but I never really thought about where it comes from or how it’s harvested. Reading this article definitely made me more conscious of the impact my food choices can have on the ocean, and it’s something I’ll keep in mind going forward.

Overall, I think it’s great that events like Ocean Day are helping to spread awareness about the importance of sustainable fishing and seafood consumption. It’s a small step we can all take to help protect the planet we live on.
