Oh, I just read an interesting article about the COVID vaccine requirements for travelers going to the US starting from 11th May. Basically, the US government will no longer demand travelers and foreigners to show a COVID vaccine certificate before entering the country.
To break it down, starting on May 11, the US government will waive the vaccine requirements for incoming travelers and foreigners. This means that travelers will not be required to have the vaccine nor show proof of vaccination prior to entering the United States. However, all travelers need to undergo COVID-19 tests before and after they arrive in the US.
I think this change is a good move since it eases the travel restrictions that were previously causing a lot of strain on traveling for both citizens and foreigners. As you know, I have been waiting for this moment for a while now since I have a friend coming to visit me from another country. With this new rule, he won’t have to undergo the strict requirements that were initially put in place, and I’m really thrilled about that.
All in all, this news goes to show that things are gradually getting better and getting back to normal. It’s important to keep following safety regulations to ensure that this doesn’t lead to a spike in cases and that we achieve herd immunity as soon as possible.
