So, I was reading this article about a study done by the UN that says there’s been a “small reduction” in societal prejudices against women over the past 10 years. It’s cool to see that progress is being made, but it’s important to acknowledge that there’s still a lot of work to be done.
Basically, the study looked at countries all over the world and assessed things like gender-based violence, workplace discrimination, and access to healthcare and education. The good news is that overall, more women are getting access to education and health resources, which is a huge step in the right direction. However, gender-based violence is still a major issue in many countries, and women often face discrimination in the workplace.
Personally, I think it’s important to keep talking about these issues and to keep pushing for change. It’s not okay that women are still facing prejudice and inequality in so many areas of society. We need to continue to call attention to these issues and demand that things change.
Anyway, that’s my take on the article. It’s interesting to see that some progress is being made, but there’s still a long way to go. Let’s keep pushing for change and working towards a more equal society for all.
