So, I just read this interesting article titled “Evelyn Matthei sobre presidente Boric. ‘Le llegó el poder demasiado pronto, no estaba preparado’“. Basically, Evelyn Matthei, a member of Chilean parliament, is saying that President Boric was not ready for the job and the power came to him too soon.
Reading this article reminded me of my own experience with sudden responsibility. One time, I was given the task of leading a group project even though I had no prior experience. It was definitely challenging, but I did my best to learn and ask for help when I needed it.
Anyway, back to the article. It seems like Matthei believes that Boric’s lack of experience is affecting his ability to lead the country effectively. However, it’s worth noting that many leaders have risen to the challenge despite their lack of experience.
All in all, I think the takeaway from this article is that being unprepared for responsibility can be difficult, but it doesn’t necessarily mean failure. It’s important to recognize one’s limitations and seek help when needed, but also to have confidence in one’s ability to learn and grow.
