Expresidente Piñera: "El equipo que enfrentó la pandemia durante nuestro Gobierno está disponible a colaborar"

Apparently, he’s offered to lend some help with the current pandemic situation in the country. As someone who’s experienced his leadership during a crisis before, he feels like his team could be of use.

He mentioned that he thinks there needs to be a more centralized approach and that the government needs to take a stronger role in controlling the situation.

This really has me thinking about how different leaders have handled the pandemic in different ways. When I was studying abroad in Spain last year, I saw firsthand how the government responded to the crisis. They went into a strict lockdown and enforced it pretty heavily. It was frustrating at times, but it definitely helped to get the situation under control.

Overall, I think it’s important that we look at different approaches to dealing with the pandemic and figure out what works best.
