Fiscal Chong cita a declarar a Piñera, Chadwick, Blumel, Ubilla y Galli

So, I came across an interesting article today that talks about how Chilean former finance minister, Felipe Larrain, has decided to put some big names such as Sebastián Piñera, Andres Chadwick, and Gonzalo Blumel in the spotlight! Apparently, he’s asking them to testify in an investigation of alleged tax fraud charges filed against Pacific Steel, a company owned by billionaire Roberto Angelini.

From what I gather, Fiscal Chong, who is overseeing the investigation, is also calling in former Interior Minister, Andres Chadwick, and other officials like Rodrigo Ubilla and Mario Rozas, to testify in connection with the same tax fraud case!

Now, I don’t know about you, but this is taking me way back! I remember back in college, I had a classmate whose dad worked at a similar company, and there were always rumors of some behind-the-scenes shady business dealings going on. It’s crazy to think that this is still going on, and on such a large scale!

Anyway, I think this is an important issue that needs to be talked about more. It’s a classic case of the rich and powerful taking advantage of the system, which is something we can’t just sweep under the rug. Hopefully, these testimonies will bring some much-needed clarity on this matter, and hold those involved accountable for their actions.
