Jara por Republicanos: “Se declaran un partido pro familia, pero han votado contra las 40 horas y el salario mínimo”

So I read this article about the Republicans in Chile and how they claim to be pro-family, but they’ve been voting against things that would actually help families, like the 40-hour workweek and minimum wage increases.

It’s kind of ironic, don’t you think? They claim to support families, but they’re actually making it harder for them to make ends meet.

I remember when I was living in Chile, my roommate was working crazy hours just to make enough money to support her family. It was really tough on her, and I can only imagine how much harder things have gotten with the pandemic.

It just goes to show that we need to be careful who we vote for and hold our politicians accountable for their actions. We can’t just take their words at face value.

Overall, I think this article is really important because it sheds light on the disconnect between political rhetoric and reality. It’s not enough for politicians to just say they’re pro-family – they need to back it up with policies that actually help families thrive.
