Jiles responde cuestionamientos recordando viejos tuits de Boric contra Reforma Tributaria de Piñera

So I just read this article about Jiles and Boric, and it was pretty interesting. So apparently, Jiles fired back at some critical questions by bringing up some old tweets of Boric’s from back in the day, where he was criticizing Piñera’s tax reforms. It’s kind of ironic, because now Boric’s policies line up pretty well with Piñera’s old goals.

It’s funny how people can change their views so much over time. I remember when I was in college, I used to be really into libertarianism. I thought government should stay out of people’s lives as much as possible, and that most regulations were just stifling innovation and growth. But now that I’ve been out in the real world for a while, I can see that some regulation is definitely necessary to protect consumers and workers.

Anyway, back to Jiles and Boric. It’s definitely a wake-up call to see how politicians can flip-flop like that. It just goes to show that we have to be careful when we’re voting, and really do our research to make sure we’re putting the right people in power. Overall, I thought the article was really informative and made me think about the importance of consistency in politics.
