La imagen de terror que se hizo viral tras la coronación del Rey Carlos

So, I read this article titled “La imagen de terror que se hizo viral tras la coronación del Rey Carlos” and it was some crazy stuff. Basically, it’s about this photo that went viral after the crowning of King Carlos in Spain.

The photo shows a bunch of soldiers riding on horseback, wearing these crazy costumes with animal skulls on their heads. It’s pretty creepy, to be honest. Apparently, they’re part of a military unit called the “Grup de Cavalleria Revellada,” which translates to “Exploded Cavalry Group.”

According to the article, these guys are supposed to be the king’s guard and they perform in parades and ceremonies. But honestly, I feel like they’re straight out of a horror movie. It’s just bizarre.

Anyway, what makes this whole thing even weirder is that the Spanish Royal Family has been trying to distance themselves from this group for a while now. In fact, they didn’t even include them in the official coronation ceremony. I don’t blame them, though. Who wants to be associated with a bunch of dudes wearing animal skulls?

Overall, I think this article highlights the sometimes-quirky traditions that exist in different cultures. As someone who grew up with Halloween being the only time of year when people wear skulls on their heads, seeing this is pretty wild. It’s important to remember that what might seem strange to us could very well be rooted in a long-standing tradition or cultural practice. But still, I definitely won’t be sleeping any easier with those horseback soldiers haunting my dreams.
