La salud mental de las mujeres empeoró, mientras ellos mejoraron

So, I came across this interesting article that talks about how women’s mental health has worsened over time, while men’s has improved. I mean, it’s crazy to think that we are living in a world where we are making so much progress in many areas, but women’s mental health seems to be taking a hit.

Basically, the article highlights some alarming statistics that show that women are experiencing higher levels of stress, anxiety, and depression compared to men. This is particularly concerning given the added stressors women face, such as gender discrimination, stigma, and lack of access to resources.

It’s not like men are not struggling with mental health issues, but it seems like women are worse off. And to make it worse, the article mentions how the pandemic has exacerbating these issues.

It’s crazy to think that I have friends who have experienced these issues firsthand. I remember one friend who had been dealing with severe anxiety for years before she finally sought help. It’s just sad that women have to go through so much and sometimes suffer in silence.

Overall, this article shows how important it is for us to take care of our mental health and to make sure that we are creating a world where everyone can thrive. It’s not just about making progress in other areas, we also need to focus on ensuring that women’s mental health is being prioritized too.
