I just read an article about a new law that extends the powers of police control when it comes to applying measures established by the migration and foreigners’ law. It was published in the official gazette and it got my attention because it seems to be a hot topic these days.

Personally, I can understand why this is such a controversial issue. It’s upsetting and unfair. On the other hand, I can see how law enforcement needs to have adequate tools to keep our communities safe.
