I just read this article titled “Me falta algo” about Fernando Alarcón and his battle with depression following the death of his friend Eduardo Ravani. It really caught my attention because I had no idea that someone who seems so successful and put together could be struggling so deeply.
Basically, the article talks about how Alarcón is a well-known and extremely talented chef and restaurateur, but despite his success, he still felt like something was missing in his life. After Ravani’s unexpected death, Alarcón became deeply depressed and even considered taking his own life.
I think it’s important to talk about mental health and how it can affect anyone, no matter how successful or put together they seem on the outside. I personally have struggled with depression in the past and it can be really tough, but there is always hope and it’s so important to reach out for help if you need it.
Overall, this article sheds light on the fact that mental health is not something to be ashamed of or hidden, and it’s important to have open and honest conversations about it.
