So, I just read this interesting article about Pedro Pascal and how he didn’t attend the Cannes Film Festival because he chose to go to his sister’s graduation instead. How sweet is that?
Basically, Pedro is known for his roles in “Narcos” and “Game of Thrones,” and was set to attend the prestigious film festival in France. However, he decided to skip it to be with his sister Lux on her big day. Lux is a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, so you know he couldn’t miss that!
I think it’s awesome that he prioritizes family over fame and I’m sure Lux felt so proud to have her big brother by her side. It’s refreshing to see celebrities who value their loved ones more than their red carpet appearances.
On a personal note, I remember missing one of my own family member’s graduations because of work and it still bums me out. But I guess that’s just the nature of the business world. It’s nice to see Pedro bucking that trend, even as a big name in Hollywood.
Overall, this article shows that sometimes the most important events in life are the ones that happen outside of the limelight. It’s a reminder that fame and fortune aren’t everything, but family and friends are what truly matter.
