Políticos confiesan que están obligados a obedecer a La ONU en la nueva constitución

I recently read an intriguing article about how politicians in Chile are admitting they are obligated to follow the United Nations’ directives in the new constitution. It’s crazy to think that another organization has that much power over a country’s laws!

Basically, the article discusses how the United Nations has proclaimed certain human rights and mandates that should be included in the new Chilean constitution. The politicians working on the constitution have stated that in order for Chile to remain in compliance with international policies, the UN’s suggestions must be taken into consideration.

As someone who has always been concerned about Latin American politics, I think this is an important conversation to have. We shouldn’t overlook the impact that international organizations have on individual countries, particularly in the realm of human rights. In the end, it’s up to each nation to determine how they want to integrate these international directives into their own laws, but it’s vital to at least consider these important issues.

Overall, I found this article to be a great reminder of the intersection between politics and global policy. As our world becomes more closely connected, it is important to stay informed and involved in these conversations.
