Basically, he’s got some rich friends who own these insurance companies called Isapres, and they don’t want to lose any money if the system changes. So, they’ve been lobbying Kast to keep things the same.

It’s crazy to think that people’s health and well-being are being put on the line just because some bigwigs don’t want to lose any money. I mean, we all need access to good healthcare, and it’s really frustrating to see politicians siding with the wealthy instead of doing what’s best for their constituents.

Personally, I’ve had some experiences with the healthcare system in Chile, and it’s not always easy to navigate. I know there are a lot of people who really struggle to afford the care they need, and it’s not fair that the system is being influenced by money instead of what’s best for people.
