So, I just read an article that caught my attention about something called the “Reforma Tributaria” in Vallejo. Apparently, they’re working on a plan to tackle student debt, specifically the CAE.
Basically, the Reforma Tributaria is a tax reform plan that they’re trying to sort out first before they can figure out how to handle the student debt issue. A guy named Vallejo is heading up the project and he’s saying that once they’ve got the tax stuff under control, they’ll present a plan for the debt.
As someone who had to deal with student loans myself, I think this is a big deal. The cost of higher education has been insane for a while now and it’s just getting worse. I can’t even imagine how tough it is for young people starting out these days.
It’s encouraging to see that there are people out there trying to make a change. I hope they’re able to come up with a solid solution and help ease the burden on those struggling with student debt. It’s a tough road, but we’re all in this together, right?
