William Levy: "En Cuba pasé 15 años haciendo dieta obligado por el gobierno"

So, I just read this interesting article about William Levy where he shared his experience growing up in Cuba and how the government regulated his diet for 15 years. Apparently, the Cuban government placed strict dietary regulations on citizens to ensure equal distribution of food supplies. William Levy, a Cuban-American actor, revealed during an interview that he had to follow these regulations even though it meant severely limiting his food intake.

He mentioned that the limited diet was quite harsh and he missed out on many delicious foods he loved. But, he also understands why the Cuban government had to do it as it was necessary to deal with food shortages at the time.

To be honest, this article really caught my attention because I can’t imagine having my diet regulated for such a long time. It reminded me of my own struggles with trying new foods. When I was younger, my mom would always make me try different veggies and I would turn up my nose at all of them. Now, I can’t imagine my meals without my favorite veggies!

Anyway, it’s crazy to think that people are forced to live like this in some countries. I am grateful for the freedom to eat what I please, whenever I please.
